Thermsley Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This policy covers (a) thermsley.com and preview links, and (b) the chat and quote forms Thermsley operates on client websites, where Thermsley processes information on behalf of the HVAC company (our client). "Thermsley", "we" and "us" mean the business operating under the Thermsley name.
What we collect
- From HVAC business owners (our clients and prospects): business name, contact name, business email and phone, website address, and business details you send us. For outreach we use only business contact information the business publicly lists, and we record where we found it.
- From homeowners using a client site's chat or form: name, phone, the details you type about your heating or cooling issue, and optionally email and ZIP/town. The chat transcript is included so the business can respond.
- Technical: spam-protection signals and rate limiting (your IP address is used transiently to block abuse). We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, to count visits and measure page speed. It doesn't use cookies or local storage or track you across sites. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data.
How we use it
- To deliver your service request to the HVAC company you contacted, and to send you a confirmation if you gave an email.
- To answer free-preview requests, build and run client websites, and send business communications to clients.
- To prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use homeowner information to market Thermsley or anyone else.
Who receives it
- The HVAC company you contacted.
- Service providers that run the system: Cloudflare (hosting, website analytics, spam protection, temporary storage), our email providers (for business email and lead notifications), and, if enabled later, an AI model provider for chat answers and a payment processor for client payments. They process data only to provide their service.
- Authorities if required by law.
How long we keep it
- Requests are stored temporarily in Cloudflare for up to 30 days so they can be delivered, then deleted automatically. Thermsley does not keep a permanent homeowner lead database.
- Client business records (agreements, invoices) are kept as long as required for tax and legal purposes.
- Outreach records and the unsubscribe/suppression list are kept so we never contact an opted-out address again.
Your choices
- Business owners can reply "unsubscribe" to any Thermsley email to stop outreach.
- Anyone can ask what we hold about them, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@thermsley.com. Requests about a lead you sent to an HVAC company may also be directed to that company.
Security
Requests travel over HTTPS. Access to systems is limited to Thermsley operators. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as the law requires.
Children
The services are for businesses and adult homeowners and are not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
